These plans are particularly important for Strata/Condo corporations and property managers to ensure that adequate contingency funds are set aside over time, helping to avoid unexpected special levies or financial shortfalls.

    In British Columbia, the Homeowner Protection Act mandates builders/developers to provide a 2-5-10 year warranty coverage for new residential constructions, specifying coverage periods of 2 years for materials and labor, 5 years for building envelope failures related to water ingress, and 10 years for structural defects.
